Routines help life run more smoothly and let your child know what to expect and how to behave. These
are essential elements of positive discipline. Simple routines, such as family dinners and reading
together, can also develop into fun family traditions, such as big Sunday morning breakfasts, weekly
trips to the library, or devoting one evening a week to a special dinner or game night. Both simple
household routines and fun family traditions help children feel that they play an important role in the
family and that they belong.

Establishing traditions within the family reinforces the unique and
important role each person plays that makes the family special. This helps strengthen relationships and
gives children a sense of security and belonging, which leads to better social skills, improved selfesteem,

There are many toxic chemicals in the majority of the food that you purchase in supermarkets or eat in,primarily, chain restaurants and fast-food restaurants. Our food supply is different than it was seventy-five years ago, fifty years ago, even twenty-five years ago…In an attempt to produce cheaper food, make it last longer, lower costs, make you physically addicted,increase your appetite, and make you fat, food manufacturers are loading the food with chemicals and utilizing processing systems that add toxins and destroy living enzymes in the food, wiping out much of the nutritional value. Food is simply not the same as it was years ago.Today food is loaded with toxins, depleted of nutritional value, and energetically altered so much that food is, in fact, man-made foreign substances that the body does not know how to handle.
So what can we do about it?
A good rule of thumb is to simply read the label. If the ingredients are not things that you could have inyour own kitchen or if the food is something you couldn’t make yourself, stay away from it—It’s man made and it is dangerous. Below you will find a list of some of the most important ingredients to avoid.
